On August 4, 2010 our hearts broke as we heard the Dr. say "she has anencephaly...these babies don't live" at our 19 wk ultrasound. The Dr. is wrong. Our precious daughter's time on earth may be short, but she will live for eternity with our Lord in heaven. During the few months we have her here with us, we intend to make the most of every second of it. Our hope is that she will leave behind more than a few short memories, but that she will leave a legacy of what it means to hope in Jesus.

P.S.
Today is the anniversary of when I lost our third baby... 3 years ago today I found out how bad a heart can hurt when I became familiar with the pain of losing a child. I never knew something could hurt so much. Today, I am aware of that pain in a whole new way. I look forward to the day I will see my sweet babies again...
I never knew you could love and miss someone you hadn't even met yet until I lost my daughter almost 10 years ago. So sorry for your losses and I also look forward to the day I will see my sweet daughter again.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a blessed Mother's Day!
*Hugs*
