On August 4, 2010 our hearts broke as we heard the Dr. say "she has anencephaly...these babies don't live" at our 19 wk ultrasound. The Dr. is wrong. Our precious daughter's time on earth may be short, but she will live for eternity with our Lord in heaven. During the few months we have her here with us, we intend to make the most of every second of it. Our hope is that she will leave behind more than a few short memories, but that she will leave a legacy of what it means to hope in Jesus.

Making Jesus Famous
Who else but a precious baby girl could make the Newspaper talk so openly about God? Her short life made front page for the 6th time! On the 6 month anniversary from the day I had to leave the hospital with empty arms... Thank you to Conor Makem, the amazing reporter who has been following her story. You have been a blessing to us. Here it is: Rachel's Playground Article
Love it!
ReplyDeleteRachel continues to have an impact on the world :)
ReplyDeleteGood job Mama!
Great article, Stacy! Still praying for you, Matt and the kids, including Baby Boy and remembering Rachel daily :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so blessed! That is awesome that her story keeps making the front page. An article was written on Sadie Mae, but only in our little hometown paper. But hey, I guess it's better than nothing, huh? :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. While reading about Rachel, her legacy, and name sake... I can't help but wonder if you've decided on a name for Baby boy Aube.
Very Cool! :)
