Rachel's Service Details

This information will be in her obituary as well, but wanted to share what we have planned so that hopefully you can join us...

Rachel's memorial service will be on Thursday, Dec 9th. at Grace Community Church, 159 Rochester Hill Rd, Rochester, NH.  We will have a wake (closed casket) at 9am and the service at 10am.  Afterwards, we will have a short committal ceremony at the cemetery and then everyone is welcome to join us back at Grace for a reception lunch.

We look forward to celebrating Rachel and the gift of her life with you.

  1. Stacy,

I just want you to know that a lady I work with at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC shared your blog and story with me. I am a nursing major and in Peds/OB this semester. We learned about anencephaly and your story about your own journey is simply amazing.

I am also a Christian. I wish I had seen your 'challenge' to go to church this morning much earlier than I did because I would have gotten up and gone (despite how I feel this morning). Thank you so much for sharing Rachel's story with us.

I know that losing a baby is difficult, whether you have met her or not. I am extremely sorry for your loss but thank the Lord that you have had the time with her that you had and that the Lord is giving you peace and strength during this time.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you, the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.-Numbers 6:24-26. Stacy and family: this is my prayer for you.

  2. I really wish I could be there. =/
After every time i read one of your blogs, I hoped and prayed that Rachel would be healed.
But I know that God has a plan...and I'm sure He will use this life changing experiece for the best.

"Sometimes the things we can't change,
    end up changing us instead."

Hear with your heart, See with your soul, Be guided by a hand that you cannot hold, Trust even if you cannot see. That's how faith must be.
