I brought Isaiah to school this morning and was surprised to see that on the parent board there was a picture of Rachel's Playground from the paper and a big sign that said "Donate a dollar to the Rachel Alice Aube Memorial Playground". I thanked the teacher for putting it up and she said that her high school students (he goes to the vocational school where the high school students learn hands-on how to teach pre-school) were going to go to the lunch room with buckets and fund raise for Rachel's Playground.
I was so blessed that teenagers were taking the initiative to help us with Rachel's Playground and that all the kids in the local public high school would be hearing about my precious daughter today. I pray that some of them will look for her story and find Jesus there. I cried the whole way to music lessons at the thought of the fact that people are still remembering her. Nothing makes me more proud than to know that she continues to change the world. I'm pretty sure that will never end.
She is amazing. Tonight I'm really missing her little hands...
That is so sweet. You are so right, I am praying with you about people seeing and finding Jesus through her story:) Also, I am praying for you and your family!!!
