Could you all pray for my sister? She is having surgery tonight for her Crohn's Disease. They will be taking a portion of her intestines out. The operation is scheduled for "some time after 5pm" and should take around 4 hours. Please pray for:
-That they will start at a decent time and not push it back.
-The surgeon will be alert and have steady hands (with it being a night time surgery.)
-The operation will go well and as planned
-Her healing will be fast and without infection
-For safety and peace for my mom who will be there waiting for her and will have to drive a couple hours home after
-That God will be with them in a real and tangible way.
-That this will work for her. She has been really sick for a couple of years and this has the potential to make a huge difference in her life and her kids' lives.
She will be in the hospital at least 4 days and can't eat for 3 of those. She will also have 6-8 weeks of recovery, so please remember her in your prayers in the coming days and weeks. I'll let you know how it all goes.
