Rachel made the front page again! The day before her service, the same reporter who wrote the article back in October, wrote a follow up. We didn't know this one was coming either and it was such a gift since it was in the paper the same day as her obituary. Here's the link:

A lot of it will sound familiar since he took all his info from my blog, but if you could pray for this man to be blessed, that would be great. I think it is so awesome that he has taken the opportunity to put the name of the Lord on the front page. Many people would shy away from that since well, you know, it's not popular... But he was bold and I am so thankful for that. I am so humbled to be a part of God's work through Rachel. If you haven't read the first article, here's the link for that:

On August 4, 2010 our hearts broke as we heard the Dr. say "she has anencephaly...these babies don't live" at our 19 wk ultrasound. The Dr. is wrong. Our precious daughter's time on earth may be short, but she will live for eternity with our Lord in heaven. During the few months we have her here with us, we intend to make the most of every second of it. Our hope is that she will leave behind more than a few short memories, but that she will leave a legacy of what it means to hope in Jesus.
Wow! How awesome is God to get the word out even further?!? :) God is truly using you and your story to touch so many lives! Will be praying for this man also.
ReplyDeleteI'm always glad to here when there are articles like this about our babies.
